Language Functions
This teaching video demonstrates how important functions are in learning languages. It shows that they are the purpose of how we can speak or write in other languages, e.g. in speaking like making request, giving instructions, and for writing like e.g. making contrast, describing purpose.
It also shows that in simple terms that functions are the main heart of the language. Without the purpose which is the function the learners can't make any sense of the words they say. So teachers have to teach it to learners since textbooks and writing are the most in the class, this will of course will help their ability to be better speaker and writers.

Great topic ,, I found it so difficult to know the different between the functions .. But I can tell the purpose of function . Thanks for the short information .
