every single learner of any language in the world must have good references that help him and promote his or her linguistic skills. As long as grammar is concerned, there are several excellent books and the Cambridge English grammar in Use is one of them. It is the world's best-selling grammar book. It is a self-study reference and practice book for beginner, intermediate and advanced learners of English Language. a learner is able to teach and train him or her self as it is a very clear and well-illustrated grammar book. Learner do not need teacher (to some extent) when dealing with this book. Grammar rules are explained briefly and directly in a way that is understood by everyone. After that, excesses are given and the answer is found at the end of the book. I studied this book when I was at the university and it was a very helpful and fruitful experience.

It is a great book! The explanations are so simple and clear. I call it the "bible" of English language teaching :)
