English Vocabulary in Use for pre-intermediate and intermediate is one of the greatest books that I have ever read.The book helps the learner to learn more than 2,000 words and phrases,and he can use it without a teacher.There are 100 units in the book. The learner can study them in any order,but the first four units have information about vocabulary that will help him with his learning.After doing the exercises,the learner can check his answers in the answer key at the back of the book..The Index at the back of the book has all new words and phrases from the unites, with a phonemic transcription to help the learner with pronunciation. If there is the edition with the CD-ROM,there will be a chance to listen to the pronunciation of all the new vocabulary,and there are more practice exercise as well.Ultimately,I recommend this book to pre-intermediate and intermediate students and I hope they enjoy it.
