Blog review about writefix.com

The site is aimed at people who are learning English and taking the IELTS or TOEFL exams in writing or speaking. This site is good to help learners how to do argument essays, graphs, other writing, and speaking for IELTS, PET, and TOEFL.

As a teacher this website can help him to give his/her students good examples of different types of writing. It is also a good source of outside class activities, so the teacher can give his or her students homework from this site. Another advantage is that the site has a section about problems and solution that might face the learner.

I believe that making your students go and use technology is another advantage of using this site. It also makes them self-learners, so that they can practice at home and improve themselves without the teacher being around them.

E- Reading

E- Reading

Technology is playing a big role in everyday life; we can find it everywhere and in almost everything. E- Reading is taking a part of education in these days, and it has many advantages that make it spread fast among people around the world. Many advantages can be observed when we look at E- books it saves time, money and it is very easy to be accessed, actually you can have a big library in a 30 inches device!

There is an interesting study that shows how e- reading influences people. According to study results posted by the Pew Internet and American Life Project in April of 2012, Americans are reading more with e-readers. Here are some bullets from that study:
·         people who used e-readers read more books in all formats
·         43% of those who used e-readers reported spending more time reading, especially men under age 50
·         E-reader device owners were more likely to buy books, particularly e books

·         Readers preferred e-reading devices for convenience, but they like printed books for reading to kids and sharing with others.

Do You Think It's Better To Teach With Technology or With TraditionalBooks

GRAMMER:

I thought that studying through books and do some paper exercises is easier, but I have visited http://www.englishclub.com/grammar/ which contain many useful grammar rules ,and it was a great . This website has helped me clarifying some of my grammatical mistakes which I always do. Also it makes the studying much easier because I can choose directly what rule I want to revise or learn, and while I am reading, I can click on any of an understandable terms that I might face. The website also has various exercises depending on the chosen level and category.
Another helpful website that I have visited and enjoyed is http://learnenglish.britishcouncil.org/en/english-grammar/determiners-and-quantifiers because of its simplicity and it well organized. Comparing these websites with books, I can say I prefer study and teach with technology rather than traditional books and materials. In addition, I can visit these websites wherever and whenever I want because of smart phones which everyone has nowadays. Finally, I recommend everyone to visit and try these websites and if you please leave a comment of your opinion.
